The Emilia-Romagna Flood and Storm Surge Simulation Training for Emergency Response was held in June 2024 as a part of the EU Horizon Europe DIRECTED Project The simulation practiced the use of new technologies including SaferPlaces, a flood intelligence tool and brought together the volunteers and the disaster management authorities to work together to improve emergency response in the future.
